Bundesliga: FC Augsburg signs Felix Götze of FC Bayern Munich

FC Augsburg has secured the services of FC Bayern talent Felix Götze. The 20-year-old signed a four-year contract with the Fuggerstadters until 2022.

“We are delighted to welcome Felix Götze, a talented young player, to FC Augsburg. He is very willing to learn and already well trained, so we believe that he can take his next steps as a professional here,” said FCA Managing Director Stefan Reuter about the new commitment.

Götze himself was delighted with the move to Augsburg: “I followed FC Augsburg closely and saw how much trust is placed in young players here. Therefore I think that the move to Augsburg is exactly the right thing to be able to further develop myself in the best possible way”.

Mario Götze’s little brother moved from Dortmund to Bavaria in 2014. In the past season he did not get a professional assignment for the record champion.
