FC Bayern apparently has a Chelsea youngster in their sights. Meanwhile, Haris Seferovic FCB coach Niko Kovac is backing the club and Oliver Kahn seems to be getting closer and closer. The annual general meeting will take place on Friday.
Here you can find all news and rumours about FC Bayern Munich.
With Alphonso Davies, FC Bayern will receive reinforcement for the offensive outer lanes as of 1 January. As the British Sun reports, another youngster could be added in the winter transfer period.
According to the paper, the record holder in Callum Hudson-Odoi’s FC Chelsea poker team is in pole position.
The 18-year-old is mainly at home on the left wing, where he has only played three times this season and will therefore be considering a change despite the praise of Blues coach Maurizio Sarri, according to the report.
FC Barcelona, FC Arsenal and Juventus Turin are also interested in the youngster.
Niko Kovac is still under pressure at FC Bayern Munich after the clear victory over SL Benfica. The Croat now received support from a former companion. Haris Seferovic, once a striker of Eintracht Frankfurt, spoke in the picture: “Niko fights his way out everywhere! He’s a top guy and a very strict but top coach.”
Seferovic assumes that Kovac will be able to “scratch the corner” with the Bavarians and overcome the crisis: “I wish him all of this, because I know from Frankfurt what he is doing and how he works. He’s a guy who gets his way.” Kovac’s stamina would take him far.
“I believe in Niko! If he wants something, he fights till he gets it! Then he doesn’t look left and right, but only straight ahead,” said Seferovic. The Swiss player now plays for Benfica. The reunion in the Allianz Arena was friendly: “We still have contact.”

The rumours about Oliver Kahn as successor of Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the board of the FC Bayern Munich do not stop. The kicker now concretizes and reports that Kahn will lead the German record champion from 2021. The former goalkeeper could enter management earlier.
Accordingly, the contract with Rummenigge would only be extended for two years. Kahn would then start in mid-2019 or early 2020 as sports director and move up further in 2021. In particular, President Uli Hoeneß and Rummenigge see him as a suitable successor, because Kahn enjoys the respect of the professionals.
This factor would not apply to other candidates, such as the highly ambitious Vice Chairman Jan-Christian Dreesen or the Board Member for Internationalization and Strategy Jörg Wacker. Does this make Kahn the “egg-laying woolly milk sow” you’re looking for?
FC Bayern Munich will hold its annual general meeting on Friday evening in the Audi Dome. The hall is open from 16 o’clock, the entrance is closed from 19 o’clock. Whoever is a member of FC Bayern for one year or longer is invited to the meeting. If you miss the event, you can watch it in the livestream of FC Bayern.
In addition to the annual reports of the Presidium and the Executive Committee, the JHV 2018 also includes the discharge of the Presidium. Meanwhile, new elections are not on the agenda. Uli Hoeneß’ office will not be discussed until next year.
