2nd league: Keller becomes coach at FC Ingolstadt

Jens Keller follows Alexander Nouri, who has been dismissed, as coach of FC Ingolstadt, the second division soccer team. The Schanzers confirmed that on Friday. Against the Hamburger SV on Saturday (13 o’clock in the LIVETICKER), interim coach Roberto Pätzold will bear the responsibility on the bench.

Keller, the former coach of VfB Stuttgart, Schalke 04 and most recently Union Berlin (until December 2017), will receive a contract until the end of the season from the last of the table. The football teacher will take over his new job on Sunday. Nouri had been dismissed from office on Monday after only eight games.
